We will convene at the arranged time at the primary parking area in Bayahibe and board a private vessel, embarking on an adventure to Saona Island. Prepare to glide across the inviting Caribbean Sea!
Our first stop will be at the exquisite Playa del Toro, where you can enjoy 45 minutes of snorkeling. Equipped with snorkels, masks, and fins, you will plunge into the crystal-clear waters to observe the vibrant tropical fish that inhabit this region. Prepare to be astonished!
After our underwater exploration, we will proceed to Mano Juan. This quaint village on the southern coast of Saona Island is recognized for its notable turtle sanctuary, where you will gather insights on the various species of turtles. Following this enriching experience, you will have an hour to enjoy lunch, with local lobster stands along the beach highly recommended!
Next, we will head back to the boat and navigate through the mangroves of the Catuano Channel. This vital ecosystem teems with diverse marine life, including lobsters, turtles, and even small Caribbean sharks.
Our journey continues as we visit some natural pools, where you can unwind and take a refreshing swim for 45 minutes.
Concluding our adventure, we will return to Punta Cana, ensuring you reach your hotel after an exciting 11-hour experience.
Tour Details + Pickup & Lunch
To enhance your private day trip to Saona Island by speedboat, consider the option that provides pickup service from your hotel in Punta Cana or Bayahibe (La Romana), along with a traditional Dominican lunch. This meal will feature rice with beans, various meats, salads, and non-alcoholic beverages. Additionally, an open bar will be available throughout your entire day trip.

Important information
Tour Without Pickup
If you have selected the tour without pickup, you'll have to arrive at the indicated time at the main car park in Bayahibe, where the local provider will be waiting for you: https://goo.gl/maps/tp3E2U2xfs2HMY2s8. Please arrive 15 minutes early.
Tour With Pickup
At the agreed time, the guide will pick you up at the hotel in Punta Cana or Bayahibe that you indicated when you made your reservation. Please be ready a few minutes beforehand.
Lunch Info
If you select the tour without pickup, you can add an optional lunch to the tour by paying 25USD on the day of the activity. The menu includes rice and beans, pasta, fish, chicken, salad, fruit, soft drinks, and coffee. If you would like to have a cooler with drinks on board during the tour, the price is 10USD per person. Rum, soft drinks, and water are included.
If you select the tour with pickup, lunch will be included.
In both cases, you can take you own cooler on board the speedboat.
