Embark on an unforgettable journey along the Qhapaq Ñan, a historic Inca trail recognized as a World Heritage Site, while immersing yourself in the breathtaking landscapes of the Chilean Altiplano during this hike.

Inca Trail Hike Along the Qhapaq Ñan

Our adventure begins between 7 and 8 am with a pick-up from your hotel in Putre, followed by a drive to the charming village of Socoroma located in the Arica and Parinacota region.

Upon arrival, we will embark on a trek through one of the most stunning valleys nestled in the Andean foothills of northern Chile.

This trail will guide us along the Qhapaq Ñan, noted for its outstanding historical, cultural, and scenic significance, which led to its designation as a World Heritage Site. Our hike is expected to last between 6 and 7 hours, contingent upon our group’s pace, with multiple breaks taken to enjoy the splendid volcanic landscapes.

A midday pause will be taken for a delightful picnic lunch, offering sandwiches, nuts, chocolate, and natural juices. Post-lunch, we will continue to discover the remarkable natural scenery that accompanies the Qhapaq Ñan Inca Trail.

Finally, we will make our way back to the starting point of our hike, concluding our day with a return to your hotel in Putre, expected around 4 to 5 pm.
