Arraial do Cabo Diving Experience

On the day of your diving excursion, we will pick you up at your hotel in Rio de Janeiro. After boarding our minibus, we will embark on a scenic journey lasting approximately 2.5 hours to Arraial do Cabo. Are you prepared to uncover what’s often referred to as the Brazilian Caribbean?

Upon arrival, we will board a boat to initiate the diving escapade. An experienced certified instructor will provide a 30-minute briefing on the essential diving techniques to ensure your safety throughout the activity. If you are a novice diver, there’s no need for concern; this adventure caters to all skill levels, from first-timers to seasoned divers.

Once equipped with diving gear, we will plunge into the vibrant underwater landscape off the Atlantic coastline. Certified divers with a PADI credential can engage in two separate dives, each lasting 30 minutes. For beginners, there’s the chance to experience one dive of equal duration. Regardless of your experience level, this outing promises an unparalleled adventure!

So, what makes Arraial do Cabo a top diving destination? The answer lies in its outstanding water conditions available throughout the year. Dive depths can range from 6 to 35 meters (19 to 114 feet), visibility can reach up to 20 meters (65 feet), while water temperatures typically vary between 19 and 23 °C (66 to 73 °F).

After our underwater exploration, we will head back to the port and return to Rio de Janeiro, where we expect to drop you off at your hotel around 4 to 5 pm.

Key Information

From December 23, 2026, to March 1, 2027, all divers, regardless of certification, will be limited to one 30-minute dive.

Photography Option

When making your reservation, you have the option to include underwater photography. This package follows the same itinerary as above, and you will receive 10 captivating photos that capture your underwater journey as a lasting keepsake. A professional underwater photographer will be present to document your experiences as you delve into the ocean's depths.

Complimentary hotel pickup in Rio de Janeiro is available from locations including Copacabana, Ipanema, Leblon, São Conrado, and Barra da Tijuca (specifically Jardim Oceânico), as well as Gávea, Jardim Botânico, Lagoa, Botafogo, Flamengo, Laranjeiras, Cosme Velho, Catete, Glória, Santa Teresa, Lapa, and Centro.
