Immerse yourself in Brazilian culinary traditions by joining a cooking class in Rio de Janeiro. During this experience, you'll master the art of creating classic dishes such as either seafood moqueca or picanha, along with several traditional Brazilian accompaniments.

Activity Details

We'll start our adventure at Rua Visconde de Pirajá 281, where we will proceed to the home of a local chef for an engaging Brazilian cooking class.

Upon making your reservation, you can decide whether to focus on picanha, a well-loved Brazilian meat, or opt for a seafood or vegetable moqueca. The choice is entirely up to you!

No matter what menu you select, the class will include a variety of authentic side dishes. We will explore the distinctive features of each recipe and learn about their importance in the culinary landscape of Brazil.

Once we don our aprons, it's time to start cooking! We will prepare an array of delicious dishes, including white garlic rice, farofa with plantain, cassava with butter, and grilled cheese served with jam. We will also treat our taste buds to brigadeiros, delightful Brazilian sweets!

After we finish cooking, we will switch to tasting mode and enjoy the dishes we've created, pairing them with a refreshing caipirinha and a coconut shake.

As this culinary journey concludes after four hours, you will leave with a deeper appreciation for Brazilian cuisine.
