Your journey begins with a pickup from your accommodations in Rio at the specified time. You’ll then board a minibus to embark on a memorable exploration of Christ the Redeemer and Tijuca National Park.

The adventure kick-starts at the renowned Christ the Redeemer statue, where we’ll skip the long lines to maximize your photo opportunities. From this iconic vantage point, prepare to soak in breathtaking views of the beautiful beaches and soaring skyscrapers of Rio de Janeiro. So, have your cameras ready!

Next, our journey leads us to the charming Santa Teresa neighborhood, a vibrant area celebrated for its artistic community. Here, you’ll encounter the historic bondinho, a traditional tram that continues to serve the city, along with the vibrant Selarón steps, adorned with their eye-catching tiles.

Afterwards, a visit to the unique Rio de Janeiro Cathedral awaits us in the heart of the city, followed by a drive past the famous Maracaná Stadium. We’ll then provide some leisure time for you to enjoy lunch.

Once refreshed, we will make our way to Parque Lage, a cultural and historical park nestled at the foothills of the Corcovado mountain range, part of the Tijuca National Park. This area is celebrated for housing one of the largest urban rainforests globally.

Finally, you will have the choice to ascend Sugarloaf Mountain via cable car to enjoy spectacular views from its summit or opt for a return to your hotel to conclude the tour.

Pickup Locations

The tour includes pickup from hotels situated in the Botafogo (beach), Copacabana, and Ipanema areas. Guests staying in downtown Rio de Janeiro will gather at the Villa 25 Hostel at 6:50 a.m., while those in other locations should meet at the Mango Tree Hostel Ipanema at 7:35 a.m.
