Embark on a journey to the peak of Corcovado to witness the iconic Christ the Redeemer statue situated in Rio de Janeiro, while enjoying views of the renowned Sugarloaf Mountain.
Tour Overview
At the scheduled hour, we will collect you from your accommodation in Rio de Janeiro for a picturesque drive along the coastal roads of the Zona Sul area.
As we approach Corcovado Mountain, we will arrive at the Paineiras Visitor Center, located within the expansive Tijuca National Park, recognized as the largest urban forest worldwide. Here stands the impressive Christ the Redeemer, with arms stretching 28 meters (92 feet) wide, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the city. Be sure to have your camera prepared to capture the moment!
Your adventure continues to Praia Vermelha, nestled at the base of the iconic Sugarloaf Mountain. From this point, we will take a cable car to the top, where you'll be enveloped by stunning vistas of the ocean, nearby islands, and the stunning Guanabara Bay, a landscape that appears almost surreal. The sweeping views of Ipanema and Copacabana beaches, complemented by the surrounding mountains, create a perfect scene for peaceful reflection.
After enjoying your time at the summit, we will descend and commence our journey back to your hotel, where we will conclude our approximately 5-hour experience together.
Pickup Locations
The tour provides pickup from the following areas in Rio de Janeiro: Leblon, Ipanema, Leme, and Copacabana. If you are staying beyond these locations, we'll contact you to arrange an alternative meeting place.
Important Information
- Until the end of May 2027, the stairways leading to Christ the Redeemer will be under renovation, potentially causing extended wait times and longer lines.
- The itinerary may change based on weather conditions and other considerations.

Important information
On the day of the activity, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Rio de Janeiro. Please be ready at the hotel reception 15 minutes before the designated time.
The tour includes pickup at hotels in the following areas of Rio de Janeiro: Leblon, Ipanema, Leme, and Copacabana. If you're staying outside of these areas, the local team will contact you to establish an alternative meeting point.
