Hang Gliding Adventure in Rio de Janeiro

Upon gathering at Mendes de Morais Avenue in Rio, we will board a minibus that will take us to the launch site for the hang gliding experience. Expert instructors will equip you with all the essential gear and guide you through the fundamentals of hang gliding. After a brief introduction, you will run down the hill alongside your instructor to take flight!

As you glide over Rio de Janeiro, prepare to be mesmerized by stunning views of the lush jungle, picturesque beaches, and the city's prominent landmarks. Experience the liberty and excitement of flying, taking in breathtaking views of the Christ the Redeemer statue, Sugarloaf Mountain, Copacabana, Ipanema, and the tropical scenery that envelops Rio!

Your aerial adventure will conclude with a landing on São Conrado beach, after an exhilarating flight lasting between 6 and 10 minutes.

Hang Gliding & Trekking

For those seeking adventure both in the skies and on the ground, we offer a combined option that includes the hang gliding experience, GoPro media capture, and a guided trek along the Pedra Bonita trail within Tijuca National Park!

The entire experience will last approximately 1.5 hours. Please note that this package does not provide transfers and will commence from the designated meeting location at Mendes de Morais Avenue.

Tour with pickup

If you've opted for hotel pickup, the local provider will contact you to confirm the exact time you'll be picked up. We remind you that only accommodations in the southern area of Rio de Janeiro are included.

Please remember that you'll have to pay fees of 150BRL per person.
Adults and minors between 14 and 17 years of age must present their passports or IDs at the beginning of the activity.
If you've selected the options that include photos and videos, you'll need to bring a USB flash drive to take your photos and videos with you.
Depending on the weather conditions and the mobility, weight, and height of the client, the instructor may decide which tour option you'll do for safety reasons.
The tour may be canceled due to weather conditions. In such cases, the provider will offer free cancellation or rescheduling. Additionally, in case the activity cannot be done, we'll contact you to propose alternative dates.
