We will gather at Praça Afonso Viseu at the specified time to initiate our thrilling exploration of Tijuca National Park, situated to the southwest of Rio de Janeiro. Get ready to uncover the reasons behind its designation as a World Heritage site!

Upon our arrival, we will embark on a one-hour hike into the vibrant Tijuca Forest, often referred to as Rio's green lung. Our trek will take us to Largo do Bom Retiro, a significant starting point for various paths weaving through the park’s stunning mountains.

As we press on, we will arrive at the foot of Bico do Papagaio, the second-highest peak in the park. From the summit, prepare to be captivated by breathtaking panoramic vistas featuring renowned sights such as Gávea Stone, Beautiful Stone, Sumaré, and even a view of the Christ the Redeemer statue perched atop Corcovado Mountain.
