Pico da Tijuca Hike

At the scheduled time, we will meet you at your accommodation in Rio de Janeiro and embark on a short minibus ride lasting approximately 30 minutes towards the Tijuca National Park. Upon arrival, our adventure will begin as we take the hiking trail leading to Pico da Tijuca.

The hike will cover a total distance of 5 kilometers round trip, guiding you past stunning viewpoints, serene waterfalls, and historical landmarks. Along the way, you'll have the chance to observe a variety of wildlife, including the playful sagui monkeys of the Brazilian rainforest. As we approach the summit, expect a rewarding challenge with a climb up a stone staircase that consists of 177 steps. Those who persevere will be treated to breathtaking vistas!

After a well-deserved break at the top, soaking in the panoramic sights of Rio de Janeiro and its stunning landscape, we will begin our descent, returning to your hotel approximately 5 to 6 hours after we first set out.
