Tour Choices

At the agreed time, we'll gather at the designated meeting point chosen during your reservation, where you'll take a seat on the back of a motorcycle taxi operated by skilled local drivers to commence your cultural exploration. With a knowledgeable local guide by your side, you’ll unveil the true character of these neighborhoods, going beyond common perceptions.

Upon booking, you can select to explore either the Rocinha or Vidigal favela. Both tours run for approximately 4 hours and feature a 30-second drone video, showcasing stunning vistas of the favela alongside sweeping views of the ocean, mountains, and vibrant rooftops.

Rocinha Experience

If Rocinha is your choice, our journey will take us to Visual do Laboriaux, the highest point in the area, boasting incredible views of Christ the Redeemer and Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon.

Next, we will guide you to one of the most celebrated murals in the vicinity, depicting the community's history through vibrant graffiti since the 1930s. Following this, we will visit the Mureta da Dionéia viewpoint, which honors the local motorcycle taxi drivers, a significant representation of effort within Brazilian favelas.

We’ll conclude our visit by stopping at the residence of a local, where we’ll ascend to their terrace for the drone video.

Vidigal Experience

Opting for Vidigal, we will first stop at its prime location, the Arvrão viewpoint. From this vantage point, the panoramic views of Rio de Janeiro’s South Zone beaches are truly breathtaking.

Afterward, we’ll pass by the renowned Nós do Morro theater and film school, as we share insights about various community initiatives in the area. We’ll also visit Beco das Artes, where vibrant graffiti narrates the stories of the local residents through artistic expression.
