Tijuca National Park Hiking Experience

Upon collection from your accommodation in Rio de Janeiro at the arranged time, we will proceed to the Tijuca National Park, setting the stage for a delightful exploration of one of the world’s most significant urban green spaces.

Once we arrive at the park, we will embark on a 4-mile hiking trail of moderate intensity. During this trek, expect to encounter notable highlights such as the stunning Taunay Waterfall and the impressive Cova da Onça Suspension Bridge.

Continuing our hike, we will visit the charming Mayrink Chapel and venture through a fragrant eucalyptus forest, where the intriguing Morcegos Grotto awaits exploration. Let’s discover what lies within!

Our next stop will be the beautiful Baronesa Waterfall, where you may enjoy a revitalizing swim in its crystal-clear waters.

After our adventure, we will retrace our steps back to the starting point of the hike and then return to your hotel in Rio de Janeiro, concluding our journey approximately five hours later.
