Activity Overview
At the arranged time, we will collect you from your accommodation in Rio de Janeiro and transport you to Tijuca National Park, the premier preserved urban forest globally. Upon arrival, we'll commence our exhilarating off-roading expedition throughout the park. Stay alert... You may encounter turtles, coatis, fish, monkeys, and various other wildlife along our path.
Our first destination will be the Vista Chinesa viewpoint, featuring an oriental-style pagoda that offers breathtaking panoramic vistas over the southern region of the city and Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas. Here, we'll delve into its intriguing ties to tea cultivation in Brazil!
Following this, we will navigate the Taunay trail to the Cascatinha, the park's tallest waterfall. Here, we will pause for approximately 40 minutes so that you can enjoy a revitalizing swim in the natural pool situated at its base.
Once refreshed, we will proceed to the delightful Mayrink Chapel, nestled within the heart of the forest. This quaint church blends harmoniously with its surroundings, exuding a serene ambiance. Our journey will then lead us to the remarkable giant jackfruit tree, recognized as the largest fruit in the world!
Continuing through Tijuca National Park, we will explore the visitor center, where a particular highlight is the permanent exhibit titled "A Forest in the Metropolis." We will conclude our tour at the historical Lago da Solidão reservoir.
Eventually, we will part ways at the original starting point, roughly four hours after our departure.
Pickup Information
The areas for pickup include: Copacabana, Ipanema, Leblon, Leme, Flamengo, and Botafogo. If your accommodation is outside these specified zones, we will reach out to you the day prior to arrange an alternative meeting location.
Note on Itinerary
Please be aware that the Vista Chinesa viewpoint is only available for visits from Monday to Friday.

Important information
On the day of the activity, we'll pick you up from the hotel in Rio de Janeiro that you indicated during the booking process. Please be ready 10 minutes beforehand.
Please note that the pickup areas included are: Copacabana, Ipanema, Leblon, Leme, Flamengo, and Botafogo. Pickup is not included for hotels in São Conrado, Barra da Tijuca, and Recreio dos Bandeirantes.
If you're staying outside of the designated areas, the local team will contact you the day before the activity to establish an alternative meeting point.
