Description

Are you currently in Rome and eager to explore an Italian gem? Embark on a day excursion to the Amalfi Coast, where you will experience a boat journey to Amalfi and Positano, navigating the beautiful waters of the Tyrrhenian Sea.

Details of the Day Trip

Your adventure begins early in the morning at the obelisk located in Piazza del Popolo, in the bustling center of Rome. From there, we will journey southwards, leaving the capital behind as we venture into the scenic Campania region. Here, the environment shifts dramatically, revealing the stunning blue tones of the Tyrrhenian Sea. Let's set off!

After a three-hour bus ride, we will reach Salerno, where a boat awaits to take us on a picturesque cruise showcasing the breathtaking cliffs of the Amalfi Coast. Our first destination is Amalfi, where you will enjoy two hours of free time to wander through its lively squares, take in the striking architecture of its cathedral, and lose yourself in the delightful narrow streets.

To enhance this remarkable experience, we will partake in a traditional limoncello tasting. Sampling this iconic liqueur is the perfect way to savor the essence of this extraordinary coastline!

Next, we will sail towards Positano, regarded as one of the most stunning villages in the Mediterranean. As we approach by sea, the unique form of this "vertical city", with its array of pastel houses seemingly perched upon the cliffs, will take your breath away. You will have one hour to explore its boutique shops, relax on the sandy beaches, or enjoy a delightful gelato beside the water.

In conclusion, we will make our way back to Salerno by boat, initiating our return bus trip to Rome, and arriving after an enriching 13-hour day trip.
