Day Trip Overview

Your adventure begins early in the day at the obelisk located in Piazza del Popolo, conveniently situated in the center of Rome. From here, we will head southward, leaving behind the lively capital and entering the beautiful Campania region. The scenery will shift dramatically as the vibrant blue of the Tyrrhenian Sea comes into view. Let’s get started!

After approximately 3 hours on the bus, we will arrive in Salerno, where we'll board a boat to embark on a picturesque cruise showcasing the breathtaking cliffs of the Amalfi Coast. Our first destination will be Amalfi, where you will enjoy 2 hours of free time to wander through the town’s lively squares, admire its exquisite cathedral, and explore the enchanting white alleys.

To further enhance your experience, a traditional limoncello tasting awaits you. Sampling this renowned liqueur is a perfect way to savor the flavors of the coastline!

Your journey continues as we sail towards Positano, often regarded as one of the most beautiful villages in the Mediterranean. Approaching from the sea, you will quickly understand why it has earned the nickname of "vertical city", with a maze of pastel-hued buildings seemingly suspended on the cliffs. You'll have 1 hour of leisure time to browse through its unique fashion boutiques, relax on the sandy beaches, or simply indulge in a gelato while taking in the coastal views.

At the end of our day, we’ll return to Salerno by boat, where the bus will take us back to Rome, bringing our enriching 15.5-hour day trip to a close.
