Family-Friendly Visit to the Colosseum

Our meeting point will be in front of the Arch of Constantine, where our exciting journey will begin, complete with puzzles, activities, and rewards. Let’s embark on this adventure!
Our adventure kicks off at the Colosseum, renowned worldwide as the greatest Roman amphitheater. As we explore its entrances, we will delve into the ancient Roman engineering feat that allowed them to manage over 50,000 spectators through vomitoria, the exit pathways of the arena. Interestingly, this architectural marvel could clear crowds within minutes!
While we marvel at the impressive travertine arches, the intricate vaulting, and the various seating tiers, we will engage in imaginative storytelling, envisioning where senators, families, and enthusiastic fans once gathered.
Our next stop is the Roman Forum, which served as the vibrant center of social and political life during the Roman Empire. Here, we will traverse among temples and columns brimming with histories waiting to be uncovered. Did you know that it was in this very Forum where laws were argued and triumphant victories were commemorated?
Amidst a series of clues and exciting challenges, we will pinpoint significant landmarks and unravel the story of how a small city transformed into a sprawling empire. Rest assured, this will be a lively experience—no boring lectures involved!
We will conclude our adventure just outside Palatine Hill after a detailed two-hour exploration.
