Rome Sightseeing City Bus
Description
The City Sightseeing buses in Rome offer an excellent means to explore the key attractions of the Italian capital. Travelers can select from various routes featuring numerous stops, making it easy to hop on and off as desired. Alternatively, for those who prefer a continuous experience, a single lap option is available, providing a complete panoramic journey without any stops.
Routes & Stops
The sightseeing buses cover various stops at the city's most notable locations. For detailed information about the routes, refer to the map available below:
This ticket grants access to the City Sightseeing buses, along with the Vatican & Rome Open Bus services, which are the primary operators in the area.
How It Works
Selecting a 1-day, 24, 48, or 72-hour ticket means that the ticket's validity starts upon validation. For instance, if a 48-hour ticket is activated on a Monday at 1 pm, it remains valid until Wednesday at 1 pm.
Throughout this period, you can freely board and disembark from different buses as often as you wish. For example, upon reaching the Colosseum, you can disembark, explore it, and then catch another bus to continue your journey towards the Vatican.
Bear in mind that the 1-day ticket is valid from the first bus departure to the last on the chosen date. Conversely, with the non-stop ticket, you will experience a single, uninterrupted tour covering the entire circuit of Rome. This journey commences at the Terminal A stop and has a duration of 1.5 hours.
Schedule & Frequency
- From May 1 to October 31: daily service from 9 am to 6:30 pm (last departure at 6:30 pm)
- From November 1 to April 30: daily operation from 9 am to 6 pm (final bus leaves at 6 pm)
When purchasing a multi-day ticket, it's advisable to check the schedule to confirm that bus services are available on the days you plan to use them.
Itinerary Adjustments
Service may be subject to changes due to traffic conditions, special events, or adverse weather.
