Rome Sightseeing City Bus
Description
Exploring the Italian capital aboard the City Sightseeing buses offers an excellent way to visit the city's iconic landmarks. Travelers can select from various routes, each with multiple stops that allow for unlimited boarding and disembarking. Alternatively, those desiring an uninterrupted experience can opt for the non-stop circuit, providing a complete panoramic tour.
Routes & Stops
The sightseeing buses in Rome halt at several of the city's most captivating locations. To further investigate the routes, please refer to the following map:
This ticket provides access to the buses operated by City Sightseeing in Rome and the Vatican&Rome Open Bus, the two primary service providers in the area.
How It Functions
Selecting the 1-day, 24, 48, or 72-hour ticket means that the ticket validity is determined by the time of validation. For instance, using a 48-hour ticket validated on Monday at 1 pm would remain active until Wednesday at 1 pm.
During the ticket's validity period, you are free to board and disembark from the buses at your convenience. For example, if you stop at the Colosseum, you may explore it and later catch another bus to continue toward the Vatican.
It’s important to mention that the 1-day ticket is valid from the initial to the last bus departure on your chosen date. Meanwhile, the non-stop ticket allows enjoyment of the full circuit of Rome in a single journey, beginning at the Terminal A stop and lasting approximately 1.5 hours.
Schedule & Frequency
- April 1 to October 31: daily from 9 am to 6:20 pm (last bus departs at 6:20 pm)
- November 1 to March 31: daily from 9 am to 6 pm (last bus departs at 6 pm)
For those purchasing multi-day tickets, it is advisable to verify the schedule to confirm bus availability on the days planned for travel.
