Rovaniemi Full-Day City Tour

At the indicated time, we'll meet at 29 Maakuntakatu. From this point in Rovaniemi, we'll kick off this exciting experience.

Your adventure begins with a visit to a reindeer and husky farm. If snow conditions allow, you'll hop aboard a sled pulled by huskies, one of the oldest dog breeds in the world, for a short ride. You'll also get to experience another form of travel for the Sami people: reindeer sledding. Generally, both rides will take place, depending on the snow conditions.

Next, we'll head to Santa Claus Village. Here, you'll enjoy a delicious buffet lunch and meet Father Christmas, his helpers, and his reindeer. You can even deliver a letter to him in person! The village crosses the Arctic Circle, offering the perfect opportunity for a photo with a foot on each side.

After lunch, we'll visit the Arktikum Museum, a must-see landmark in the city. The museum educates about the ice age, the secrets of the Aurora Borealis, Arctic animals, and the indigenous Sami people. Architecturally, it is notable for its use of local materials, highlighted by a 564-foot-long (172 m) glass corridor that runs from north to south.

To conclude your full day of adventure, we'll return to the meeting point in Rovaniemi, ending this memorable experience.
