Upon arrival, you will find yourself in an authentically tranquil Lappish environment with breathtaking views of a majestic lake nestled among the trees. Here, our mobile sauna, designed on skis, awaits, ready to transport you into this peaceful retreat.

After boarding the specially designed sauna vessel, the experience begins. Inside this wooden cabin, crafted and heated by firewood, temperatures can soar up to 158ºF (70ºC). We’ll guide you through the procedure to make the most of your sauna visit. A unique aspect of the Finnish sauna is its association with a ritual that includes a refreshing dip in the nearby frozen lake. This is a tradition rooted in Finnish culture, as sauna facilities are commonly placed close to water bodies. Interestingly, saunas were once regarded as sacred spaces.

Depending on your travel season to Rovaniemi, you can opt for either the winter or summer sauna experience. The primary distinction lies in the winter lake being entirely frozen, while summer reveals thawed waters, both ideal for the invigorating contrast with the sauna's heat.

To conclude your private journey, you will partake in a selection of warm drinks and snacks served in a traditional teepee.

Following your sauna experience, we will return you to your hotels in Rovaniemi in approximately 3 to 3.5 hours.
