As you proceed with your booking, you will have the opportunity to choose from various options based on the season of your visit:

Standard Winter Husky Sleigh Adventure

At the designated time, you will be collected from the heart of Rovaniemi and transported toward the outskirts of the Lapland capital to commence your journey through the stunning, snow-laden landscapes.

Your first stop will be a husky farm, where you will encounter these energetic canines. A knowledgeable guide will share insights about this breed, well-adapted to the cold and commonly found in Nordic regions, detailing their everyday life and behaviors.

Once you are informed, it’s time for the adventure! You will receive safety guidelines before boarding a sled pulled by huskies. Enjoy a serene 7 to 10 km (4 to 6 mi) ride through the breathtaking natural scenery.

After traversing the scenic snowy expanse of Lapland, you’ll return to the farm, where you can warm up by the bonfire while indulging in a hot drink and delightful gingerbread cookies. This experience is reminiscent of a year-round festive atmosphere!

At the conclusion of the activity, your return to the meeting point in Rovaniemi will be approximately 3 to 3.5 hours later.

Husky-Drawn Cart Ride (Autumn)

In the autumn months, or during winter periods lacking sufficient snowfall, you can still experience the same pathway. In this case, you will ride in a cart pulled by huskies on solid ground instead of a sled over snow.

Summer Husky Farm Experience

Once summer arrives in Lapland and the snow has melted, the environment transforms for mushers and their huskies. This option invites you to visit a husky farm located half an hour from Rovaniemi, allowing you to learn about the dogs' summer life.

At the scheduled time, we will collect you from your place of stay and take you to the farm, where you will meet the Alaskan huskies and gain remarkable insights during a guided exploration of the facility. You will learn about the daily routines of these dogs and their mushers, alongside broader insights into Lapland culture.

Should temperatures be below 15°C (59°F), and the huskies eager for activity, prepare for an 800-meter (0.5-mile) kart ride to observe their training preparations for the winter season, with your guide driving as you experience the ride.

After the adventure, there will be opportunities to further engage with the huskies and farm life. These affectionate dogs enjoy companionship, and if available, you may also meet some playful puppies. To conclude your visit, we will share snacks and beverages together.

Following this experience, we will return you to your accommodation after approximately 3 hours.
