Tour Overview

At the prearranged time, our excursion begins with a pickup at the designated location in Rovaniemi that you selected during your reservation. From here, we will travel by vehicle, leaving the urban environment of the Lapland capital behind as we venture into the breathtaking wooded landscapes surrounding the region.

As we traverse the forested routes, you’ll notice intriguing signs that say "caution, moose." Finland is home to an estimated 100,000 moose, and our journey will be filled with fascinating insights into the behaviors of these magnificent mammals. Remarkably, they can reach weights of up to 700 kilos (1,543 pounds) and heights of about 2 meters (6.5 feet). Truly astounding!

This safari is perfectly timed for the late afternoon, which provides an excellent chance to observe these magnificent creatures, as dawn and dusk mark their periods of peak activity.

To conclude this experience, enjoy a traditional snack from Lapland: gingerbread cookies accompanied by a warm beverage, a delightful way to warm up!

After an immersive 4-hour journey, we will return to the initial pickup spot in Rovaniemi.

Moose Viewing Information

Given that moose roam freely in the regions we will visit, we cannot ensure sightings. However, we will navigate to known habitats where these animals are frequently spotted, and with a touch of luck, we might encounter several during our adventure.
