Activity Details

The tour begins with a pickup from your accommodation in Rovaniemi. After boarding the vehicle, we'll journey northeast, allowing you to embrace the tranquility of the Arctic wilderness. Let the adventure commence!

Our first destination is Santa Claus Village, where we will provide you with your snowmobiles and all necessary gear for your exciting ride. Feel the thrill as we zoom across Lapland's snowy landscapes for an exhilarating hour and 20 minutes, gliding on serene paths, only interrupted by the crisp sound of snow under our machines.

Following a short 10-minute ride, we will enter a picturesque area adorned with frost-laden pine trees. After the adrenaline rush, we will take a moment to transition to our snowshoes. On this part of the journey, we will stroll through the Vikaköngäs forest for an hour. Navigate through trails beneath the icy branches, and keep your eyes open; you might spot some elusive wildlife!

As we conclude the hiking portion, we’ll make our way back to Santa Claus Village. Here, a half-hour guided tour will unfold, revealing the wonders of this magical destination that embodies the spirit of Christmas year-round.

Wander through the delightful nooks of the village, visiting the Post Office, crossing the Arctic Circle, and admiring its whimsical homes.

You will enjoy 2 hours of free time to explore at your own pace. Visit Santa Claus, browse through shops and cafés, or even send a postcard adorned with a special Arctic Circle stamp to your loved ones—what a unique keepsake!

Finally, we will reconvene to journey back to Rovaniemi, wrapping up this exhilarating 7-hour experience with a drop-off at your hotel.

Hotel Pickup

This excursion includes pickup from hotels within a 10 km (6.2 mi) radius of Rovaniemi's center. If your accommodation is situated outside this range, we will contact you after your booking to arrange a suitable meeting location.

Snowmobile Requirements

To operate the snowmobiles, participants must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driving license. When making your reservation, you can select either an individual or shared snowmobile, allowing both users to alternate driving if they meet the requisite conditions. Please be aware that the quoted price is per person.

For children under 18, shared snowmobile tickets are required, and they will ride as passengers with an adult.
