Sleeping Lion Rock Day Excursion

We will gather at the designated time on 12 de Febrero Avenue in Puerto Baquerizo, located on San Cristóbal Island. From there, a comfortable minibus will transport us to the port, where we will embark on a boat to navigate the waters of the Pacific towards Roca León Dormido.

After an hour and a half at sea, we will reach these remarkable volcanic structures. Do you recognize a lion or perhaps a shoe? While observing these formations emerging from the ocean, we may spot Nazca boobies and blue-footed boobies.

Next, we’ll suit up in our snorkeling gear and dive into the inviting waters! You’ll have the chance to see Galapagos and hammerhead sharks, along with numerous sea turtles.

Upon returning to the boat, we will savor a light lunch of snacks to replenish our energy. Following this, we will set off once more to explore Cerro Brujo, a captivating eroded volcanic cone known for its striking stone arch. Don’t forget to capture images of La Catedral!

Finally, we will make our way back to the mainland and return you to the original meeting point, completing this adventure in approximately 4.5 hours.
