Tour Overview

We'll start our captivating exploration with a pickup at your accommodation in San Francisco de Campeche. Are you prepared to unearth the concealed gems of Campeche? Let's set off!

After approximately an hour's drive, we will reach our first destination: Xcalumkin. This archaeological site was once a vital urban center within the Maya civilization. Here, we'll explore its ancient stone palaces, well-preserved causeways, and the lush jungle surroundings, all while delving into the site's architectural significance and its rich symbolism.

Our journey continues as we proceed to Hacienda Blanca Flor, an impressive 19th-century estate that transports us back to the height of the henequen boom. We’ll wander through the estate’s beautiful gardens and galleries, reflecting on the prosperous period in Campeche’s history when henequen was celebrated as the "green gold."

Next, we will visit the delightful Hacienda Santa Cruz, where we’ll encounter local artisans crafting traditional jipi japa hats. These skilled individuals utilize time-honored techniques employing natural fibers, showcasing a vital aspect of the cultural heritage and creativity of Campeche.

Our final destination will be Tankuché, a charming hacienda rich in rural character, where we will discover the fascinating melipona bee, a unique stingless species native to the region. We will gain insight into its healing properties and its significance to the Maya communities.

Before concluding our day, we’ll enjoy a delightful traditional Campeche lunch, crafted from fresh local ingredients and served in a warm, authentic atmosphere.

After a fulfilling 7 hours, we will return to your hotel for farewells.
