Your adventure begins with a pickup from your San Martín de los Andes hotel at 2 pm, followed by a northwest journey into the beautiful Neuquén province. As we traverse the lush Valdivian rainforest, recognized as one of the most humid regions in Argentina, we will take a moment to learn about the diverse flora thriving within the Lanín National Park.

Continuing along the scenic Provincial Route 48, we will arrive at Trompul, a quaint rural area predominantly occupied by the Curruhuinca Mapuche community. Here, we will marvel at the Piedra de Trompul, an extraordinary rock formation that appears to showcase a sculpted face, illuminated by sunlight. The panoramic views encompassing Lake Lácar as well as the Chapelco and Abanico mountains are simply stunning.

Our next stop is the picturesque Yuco peninsula, celebrated for its enchanting beauty. This area features a pair of small bays with unique volcanic sand, embraced by a myrtle tree forest that beautifully reflects in the tranquil emerald waters.

We will conclude our journey at Hua Hum, nestled along the border between Argentina and Chile in the northwest region of Lake Lácar. The magnificent Christ of Peace statue, an artistic creation carved from rauli wood by skilled artisans from Easter Island, offers a striking visual. After a brief hike, we will be rewarded with the sight of the Chachín waterfall, one of the area's most impressive natural features. This spectacular 30-meter (100-foot) waterfall, set deep within the Valdivian rainforest, provides a perfect highlight to an exhilarating day.

We will then make our way back to San Martín de los Andes, arriving by 7 pm to ensure you are returned to your hotel.
