We will commence this tour by picking you up from your lodging in Santa Cruz Island at the designated time. Are you prepared for an exhilarating journey? Once everyone has gathered, we'll head towards the elevated regions of the island.

Our initial destination is Los Gemelos, two impressive craters that were formed due to the collapse of massive air chambers beneath the surface. Here, you'll have the chance to admire the renowned Escalesia Forest, an endemic species that thrives in the Galápagos and serves as a habitat for Darwin's finches. Additionally, keep an eye out for the lovely Mary's Canary and the Wren.

Afterward, we will arrive at the El Chato Ranch, a private area where giant tortoises coexist in their natural environment. As we stroll along lush pathways, we'll have opportunities to observe these fascinating reptiles that can reach lengths of up to a meter and a half (4 ft 11 in) and can weigh over 250 kg (551 lbs). Witness their leisurely eating habits as they roam in search of the coolest and most humid spots. To recharge our energy, a tasty country snack accompanied by a warm beverage will be provided.

In the vicinity, we will explore the famed lava tunnels of Santa Cruz Island. These tunnels were once corridors for hot lava, and now we’ll traverse these unique natural formations to experience a glimpse into the ancient past as we navigate their intricate passageways and hidden corners.
