Activity Details

Your adventure begins with a pick-up from your hotel on Santa Cruz Island at the scheduled time. Prior to our excursion, we will equip you with the necessary snorkeling gear and conduct a brief safety check to ensure readiness for the underwater exploration ahead. Prepare for an unforgettable journey!

We will then board a boat for a serene 1.5-hour voyage toward the remarkable Pinzón Island. This island, largely untouched by humans, is a sanctuary for a variety of unique species that are sure to astonish you!

Our first destination will be Penguin Bay, a genuine marine oasis known for its clear waters and rich biodiversity. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to swim alongside sea turtles, white-tipped sharks, rays, and colorful tropical fish, and with a bit of luck, even Galapagos sharks. We will maintain a respectful distance of 2 meters (6.5 ft) from these incredible creatures to ensure their safety and comfort.

Next, we will pause briefly at Roca Sin Nombre (No Name Rock), a rock formation that offers sanctuary to blue-footed boobies, lava gulls, and lively sea lions. This is a remarkable natural spectacle amidst the ocean!

As we head back to the boat, we will indulge in a tasty lunch on board, featuring chicken or fish served with rice and salad. After refueling, we'll dive into even more snorkeling adventures! Our final destination will be Bahia La Fe, located on the southeastern shore of Santa Cruz. This tranquil spot is perfect for unwinding, beachcombing, and enjoying one last dip in its turquoise waters, where turtles, vibrant fish, and mesmerizing reefs await your exploration beneath the waves.

Ultimately, we’ll return to Puerto Ayora, concluding our adventure at the dock approximately 8 hours after we set sail.
