Details of the Day Trip

At the designated time, we will collect you from your accommodation on Santa Cruz Island. Once the group is assembled, we will embark on a 45-minute bus journey to the Itabaca Channel, where a boat awaits to take us to South Plaza Island.

Upon reaching the island, we may encounter several groups of sea lions. We will carefully disembark and commence a hike across the terrain, where you'll have the chance to see iguanas basking beneath the cacti.

As we continue along the path, we’ll arrive at a scenic cliff where one can observe a school of yellowtail damselfish, a species unique to the area. This vantage point also provides opportunities to spot swallow-tailed gulls, tropicbirds, and pelicans.

Following this, we will return to the boat for a revitalizing lunch consisting of salad, your choice of meat or fish, accompanied by rice or potatoes. Once recharged, we will head to Punta Carrión, a secluded bay ideal for snorkeling, allowing you to explore the rich marine life of the Galápagos.

Ultimately, after eight hours immersed in the wonders of this exquisite locale, we will return to our departure point to say farewell.
