Description

Santander Bay Boat Trip
At your preferred departure time, we will gather at the promenade and stroll to the dock, where our boat excursion around Santander Bay will begin.
As we set sail, prepare to admire breathtaking vistas while a knowledgeable Spanish-speaking captain shares intriguing stories about the various sites we’ll pass. Our initial highlight will be the iconic Magdalena Palace, a grand and eclectic structure erected in the early 1900s as a present for King Alfonso XIII.
The journey will then lead us to the prestigious neighborhood of El Sardinero, renowned for its extensive beaches. Following this, we will navigate towards Cape Mayor and Santa Marina Island, making our way along the coastlines of other bay municipalities, including Loredo and Somo, which boast beautiful sandy beaches enveloped by lush greenery.
Our route will take us past the ferry terminal that links the capital of Cantabria with a number of English port cities. Additionally, we will see the Botín Centre, a landmark designed by the acclaimed architect Renzo Piano, which has become emblematic of Santander.
After an hour of exploration on the water, we will return to our original departure point.
