Tour Overview

At the scheduled time, we will collect you from your accommodation and transfer you to the launch point of the buggy journey. Get ready to experience the thrill of navigating some of the most breathtaking landscapes in the Dominican Republic. Let the adventure begin!

After reaching the buggy base, you will receive a brief safety orientation on operating the vehicles. Once we’re geared up, we will hop into the buggies and start our journey along rural pathways embraced by verdant greenery.

During the 3-hour ride, you will traverse extensive plantations and gain insights into rural Dominican culture. To enrich the experience, we will make a stop at a sugar cane plantation, where you can taste the sweet, freshly cut product.

Next, we will drive toward the banks of the Chavón River, a location reminiscent of a cinematic backdrop. Renowned films such as King Kong, Rambo II, Apocalypse Now, and Jurassic Park have captured its beauty.

In addition to taking in this breathtaking scenery, you will have 15 minutes of free time for a swim. During this pause, we will offer traditional snacks, complemented by hot chocolate, coffee, or the local favorite mamajuana.

With this enjoyable interlude behind us, we will proceed to Bayahíbe Beach. What could be a better finale than relaxing in this Caribbean haven? You will enjoy 2 hours of free time to swim and bask in the sun on one of the most picturesque beaches in the region.

As the day concludes, we will return to the starting point to hand in the buggies before bringing you back to your hotel, wrapping up a delightful 9-hour journey.

Tour Conditions

• Participants must be a minimum of 16 years to drive the buggy; however, a driver’s license is not necessary.
• Each buggy reservation needs to accommodate the required number of passengers; for instance, a double buggy should have 2 occupants.
