Trip Overview
Your adventure commences with a pickup from your hotel in Santo Domingo, after which we will head to the Bayahibe Dock to set sail towards this idyllic island paradise.
Upon arrival at the dock, our boat journey starts, taking us to the beautiful Saona Island, a treasure of coastal beauty that unfolds breathtaking views at every turn.
Our first stop will be El Toro Beach, where we'll spend 45 minutes enjoying activities such as snorkeling and a refreshing swim in the clear turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea, surrounded by stunning natural scenery.
Next, we will proceed to Mano Juan, a charming village situated on the southern edge of Saona Island. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to savor a leisurely lunch at your leisure, with popular choices like the village’s famous lobster stands. Additionally, take the time to explore the local turtle sanctuary, a remarkable highlight.
After departing from Mano Juan, we will navigate along the coastal waters of Saona Island through the Catuano Channel. This extraordinary natural habitat is known for its mangrove ecosystems, where you might spot turtles and even some small Caribbean sharks.
As we approach the final leg of our journey, we’ll visit a set of natural pools off Saona Island, offering you another 45 minutes to bask in the beauty of the sea. Following this serene experience, our voyage will conclude with a return to the Bayahibe dock.
After we dock, we will transport you back to your hotel in Santo Domingo, wrapping up an enriching day approximately 11 hours after our initial pickup.
