Your adventure begins at 6 am when we will collect you from your hotel. From there, we will journey towards the central valley of Tarija en route to the Cordillera de Sama Biological Reserve.

During the drive, you will have the opportunity to enjoy the stunning vistas of the Sama mountain range and the breathtaking Bolivian highlands. The route will take us past charming villages and allow for glimpses of the Andean wildlife that inhabits this beautiful area!

Upon our arrival, we will commence our trek along the historic Inca Trail, which links Tarija's central valley with the high plateau of Tajzara, situated at an altitude of 12,139 ft (3,700 meters).

As we walk approximately 15.5 miles (25 km) along the rugged pathways of the Tajzara Inca Trail, we will pause midway for a well-deserved break. A picnic lunch will be served featuring a sandwich, fresh fruit, and water to revitalize our spirits.

After our meal, we will resume our hike. At the conclusion of the trail, a bus will be ready to transport us back to Tarija, arriving at our starting point between 2 and 3 pm.

The tour includes pickup from hotels located in central Tarija. For those staying outside this region, please make your way to the designated meeting point on Bolivar street.
