Description

Embark on a journey to uncover the wonders of Central Asia with this private 6-day tour through Uzbekistan. Your adventure will take you to Tashkent, Khiva, Bukhara, and Samarkand!

Tour Overview

Day 1: Arrival in Tashkent

Your exploration begins at 9 am when a representative picks you up from your hotel, the airport, or the Tashkent train station, marking the start of your 6-day private tour across Uzbekistan’s key cities.

Enjoy a guided visit to Tashkent, where you will witness the distinct contrast between the historic elements and the contemporary architecture of the city. Highlights of your tour include Amir Temur Square, the Alisher Navoi Theatre, the Hast Imam Complex, and the Kukaldash Madrasa. Additionally, you will visit both Orthodox and Catholic churches, as well as the Museum of Applied Arts before returning to your hotel for a well-deserved rest.

Day 2: Urgench - Khiva

Start your day with an early breakfast before heading to Tashkent airport for a 2-hour flight to Urgench. Upon arrival, your driver will take you on the 35-kilometer journey to Khiva.

After settling into your hotel, explore the UNESCO-recognized Itchan-Kala Fortress, admiring its stunning madrasas, mosques, and palaces, including the vibrant minaret of Kalta-Minor and the magnificent mausoleum of Pakhlavan Mahmoud. Enjoy your overnight stay in Khiva.

Day 3: Journey to Bukhara

On the third day, if it’s Tuesday, Friday, or Saturday, following breakfast, we’ll take you to the Khiva station for a train ride to Bukhara. On other days, a car will be our transport. After checking in at the hotel in Bukhara, you’ll have the remainder of the day free to explore.

Day 4: Exploring Bukhara

Recharge with breakfast before starting a panoramic tour of Bukhara, known as the Pillar of Islam. You will see notable sites such as the mausoleum of Ismail Samani, the founder of the Samanid Empire, the Bolo Hauz Mosque, and the formidable Arq of Bukhara Fortress.

Continue to the Poi Kalyan complex to view remarkable architecture, including the Miri Arab, Ulugbek, and Abdulaziz-Khan madrasas. Experience local life at Lyab-i-Hauz and participate in a traditional Uzbek cooking class before heading back to your hotel.

Day 5: Samarkand

On the next day, after breakfast, we will drive to Samarkand, the second-largest city in Uzbekistan.

Your journey will take 4 to 5 hours, including stops to tour the palace of Sitori-i-Mokhi Khosa, the residence of the Bukhara emir, and the traditional pottery artisans of Gijduvan. Afterward, arrive in Samarkand and check into your hotel.

Day 6: Samarkand to Tashkent

Your final day will be spent discovering Samarkand's rich history. Visit the mausoleum of Amir Guri, explore Registan Square with its three madrasas from the 15th and 17th centuries, the Zindah necropolis, and the impressive Bibi Khanum Mosque, the largest mosque in Central Asia.

After your explorations, we will assist you in reaching the railway station to board the Afrosiyob, the high-speed train that will return you to Tashkent. A driver will greet you at the station to transport you to your hotel or the airport, concluding your 6-day Uzbekistan adventure.
