Our journey commences at 8:30 am at the Avlabari metro station in Tbilisi. From this point, we will travel to the border, unveiling some of the most remarkable sights in Armenia, a nation recognized as one of the earliest Christian societies globally.

Our first destination will be the Ajtala Monastery. Upon arrival, prepare to be transported back to the 13th century as we admire both its striking facade and its richly adorned interior. The monastery showcases exquisite frescoes, exemplifying the finest pieces of Byzantine art. Additionally, we'll explore the intriguing caves and historic copper manufacturing sites that Ajtala has to offer, sure to astound you!

Next, we will visit the Haghpat Monastery, a true gem of medieval religious architecture. Dating back to the 10th century, this complex has endured both earthquakes and invasions, bestowing an air of mystique that awaits us as we stroll through its grounds.

At approximately 1:30 pm, we will take a break for lunch at a local family home, providing an excellent opportunity to enjoy authentic Armenian flavors!

Our afternoon will continue with a visit to the Sanahin Monastery around 4 pm, which, alongside Haghpat, is designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Prior to our arrival, we will make a short stop at another copper factory, a nod to the Soviet era. Our final stop will be the Mikoyan Brothers Museum, where the famous MiG 21 aircraft awaits your discovery.

The day will conclude as we return to Tbilisi by 7:30 pm.
