Day Trip to Mount Fuji

Visiting Mount Fuji, Japan’s most celebrated landmark, is essential during your stay in Tokyo. Our journey begins with a meet-up at the specified location, proceeding by bus to the Fifth Station of Mount Fuji, which serves as the gateway to this majestic site. Should weather conditions limit our ascent beyond the Fourth Station, we will instead make a stop at Oshino Hakkai.

After a scenic two-hour bus ride, we will reach the port, where breathtaking panoramic views of Mount Fuji await us from an elevation of over 2,000 meters (6,561 feet). Our next stop will be a nearby restaurant, where a delicious buffet lunch is served, allowing everyone to recharge.

Once refreshed, we will board the Hakone or Komagatake cable car, depending on the schedule. The ascent promises exceptional aerial views of the mountainous landscape, and, on clear days, you may even catch a glimpse of Mount Fuji.

Reaching Ashi Lake, we’ll embark on an unforgettable boat ride that will create lasting memories as we glide across the tranquil waters.

Our day concludes with a bus ride to Odawara Station, where we will board the Shinkansen bullet train for a swift journey back to Tokyo's main station. Alternatively, those who wish may opt for the bus return.

This excursion typically lasts between 10 to 11 hours, based on the chosen tour option.

Tour Options

When booking, you can select from four distinct options:

• Tour departing from Matsuya Ginza with bus return: Meet in front of the Matsuya Ginza shopping complex, with both segments of the tour conducted by bus.
• Tour departing from Shinjuku with bus return: Depart from the LOVE sculpture in Shinjuku, completing the excursion entirely by bus.
• Tour departing from Matsuya Ginza returning by bullet train: This option features a bus trip from Matsuya Ginza, with the return via bullet train from Odawara Station, finishing at Tokyo Station.
• Tour departing from Shinjuku returning by bullet train: This begins at the LOVE sculpture in Shinjuku, taking a bus for the outward journey and concluding with a bullet train ride back from Odawara Station to Tokyo.

For those who select a bus return option, please note that the day trip will wrap up at Odawara Station on weekends, public holidays, and the following specified dates:

Essential Information

Starting from November 3, the tours initiated from Matsuya Ginza will have altered schedules on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays (including November 3 and 23). For these instances, meeting will occur at the LOVE sculpture in Shinjuku, with participants gathered by 7:20 am for a departure at 7:30 am.
