Upon arrival, you can use this pass to access 8 different transport modes without restrictions for the duration of the ticket's validity. This includes the scenic Hakone Tozan mountain train, the Hakone Tozan funicular, the remarkable Hakone Ropeway, and the well-known pirate ship cruise on Lake Ashi.
Moreover, the Hakone Free Pass provides exclusive discounts and advantages at more than 70 attractions across Hakone. You can explore museums, art galleries, thermal baths, and shops while enjoying significant savings. Upon booking, detailed information regarding the discounts will be shared.

The Hakone Free Pass is available in two options based on your length of stay in the region:
2-Day Hakone Free Pass
This option includes a round-trip journey on the Odakyu line from Tokyo to Hakone. It allows unlimited travel for 2 consecutive days on the Hakone Tozan train, the Hakone Tozan funicular, the Hakone Ropeway, the Hakone Sightseeing Cruise pirate ship, the Hakone Tozan Bus, the Odakyu Hakone Highway Bus, the Tokai Bus, and the KANKO SHISETSU-MEGURI bus.
3-Day Hakone Free Pass
This option encompasses a round-trip journey on the Odakyu line from Tokyo to Hakone as well. It offers unlimited travel for 3 consecutive days on all the aforementioned transport modes, including the Hakone Tozan train, the Hakone Tozan funicular, the Hakone Ropeway, the Hakone Sightseeing Cruise pirate ship, the Hakone Tozan Bus, the Odakyu Hakone Highway Bus, the Tokai Bus, and the KANKO SHISETSU-MEGURI bus.

The Hakone Free Pass is available exclusively for non-Japanese citizens. You may need to present your passport or ID to confirm eligibility while collecting your card. The pass is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
Please note that the pass is not valid on the Limited Express Romancecar train. To use this service, an additional fare will apply.

This voucher is not a valid ticket. After booking, you'll receive an electronic voucher that you must present to redeem your Hakone Free Pass cards. You must also present a valid ID (passport), as this pass is only for non-Japanese citizens.
Pass Collection Points
You can collect your Hakone Free Pass at the Odakyu Sightseeing Service Center - Shinjuku West. The exact address is 1 Chome-1-3 Nishishinjuku, Shinjuku City, Tokyo 160-0023, Japan. You can pick you pass up from 8 am to 4 pm, from Monday to Sunday. Please note that these times are flexible and may vary, so we recommend checking the official website.

Ticket Validity
