Kamakura Private Day Trip

This private tour to Kamakura and Enoshima allows you to travel by car to two significant Japanese coastal destinations with a Spanish-speaking guide exclusive to your group. You will visit historical temples.

Itinerary

At the scheduled time, we will pick you up from your hotel in Tokyo and begin our journey to Kamakura, which was once the imperial capital and is rich in historical heritage.

We will arrive in about an hour and visit the Kotokuin temple, home to the Great Buddha of Kamakura, an impressive bronze statue over 13 meters tall and weighing 93 tons.

Next, we will explore the lively Wakamiya ?ji and Komachi-dori avenues, filled with traditional shops and charming cafes. We will also visit the important Tsurugaoka Hachimangu shrine.

After these visits, you will have free time for lunch at local restaurants. Following lunch, we will head to Enoshima island, which is accessed via a bridge linking it to the coast, known for its history, mythology, and ocean views.

There, we will stroll along the main street, visit the Enoshima shrine, and explore its three main temples: Hetsumiya, Nakatsumiya, and Okutsumiya. Alternatively, you can use escalators available for easier access.

After the tour of Enoshima, we will return to Tokyo, concluding the tour at your hotel approximately eight hours after pickup.

• The tour is available every day, but it is advisable to avoid weekends due to local tourism.
• If you want the guide to accompany you for lunch, you must cover their expenses.
• Regardless of lunch preferences, there will be a mandatory 30-minute break for the guide.

This tour includes pickup from hotels located in the city center, excluding areas such as Odaiba, Ariake, Chiba, and Disney surroundings. If your accommodation is in these areas, we will contact you to arrange an alternative meeting point.
