Xplor Park Day Trip
We'll pick you up at your hotel in the Riviera Maya at the indicated time, and make our way to Xplor, an adventure park where you can unleash the thrill seeker inside you. It's surrounded by jungle, in the middle of the Yucatán peninsula, and offers a multitude of natural attractions for all ages.
Underwater caves, hidden grottoes and little lakes are some of the places you can explore in the park, as well as flying over the jungle on a zip line, getting unique views of the local landscape.
And the bravest can take a run at the huge obstacle course, and discover the park on board an amphibious vehicle, an adventure from start to finish!
Xplor Fuego
If you would prefer to see the Xplor park by night, when making your reservation you can choose the experience Xplor Fuego. You can enjoy all the activities in a different way, making your tour totally unforgettable.
At Xplor Fuego you'll enjoy unforgettable adventures and attractions such as zip lines, amphibious vehicles, lava rivers, cave exploring, and much more. What's more, you'll also have a delicious buffet lunch included.
Opening hours
Xplor Park is open from Monday to Saturday from 9 am to 5 pm. However, please bear in mind that if you choose the option Xplor Fuego, the opening hours are 5:30 pm - 11 pm. From 10 you can no longer access the rides or the restaurant.
The return bus that'll take you to your hotel will depart around 10.50 pm.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
You will start your adventure with a pickup from your hotel in the Riviera Maya, at the scheduled time. Once at Xplor, you gain access to a variety of activities tailored for all ages. You will have the opportunity to explore the park's unique features, including underwater caves and flying through the jungle on zip lines.
Included in your visit are:
- Access to all the attractions
- Amphibious vehicle ride
- Use of zip lines
- Lunch buffet (in Xplor Fuego option)
It is important to note that the following are not included:
- Photos and souvenirs
- Transportation to areas outside of selected pickup locations
The meeting point for pickup is at your designated hotel in the Riviera Maya.

Pickup
It is very important that you confirm the exact time and meeting point at least 24 hours before the date of the tour through the following contact info:

Hours of operation:
- Monday to Friday: from 7 am to 8 pm
- Saturdays: 7 am to 4 pm
Pickup is from different hotels in Cancún, Playa del Carmen and the Riviera Maya. Therefore, the pickup time will vary depending on the location of your hotel and traffic.
Tours and days of operation are subject to availability and changes. We can't guarantee pickup from a hotel where you aren't staying, as some hotels' policies don't allow visitors access to their property.
Grupo Xcaret guides will be dressed in red t-shirts with the Xcaret logo on the back so you can spot them. They'll also call out the name of the tour.
During pickup, you'll need to show your printed or digital voucher and photo ID (it can be a photocopy or in digital format) when boarding the bus. This is a requirement to be able to get the park admission bracelet.
Recommendations
- Remember that you must bring proof of purchase.
- Remember to bring a bathing suit, water shoes, a change of clothes and a towel.
- Your sunscreen and insect repellent should only contain titanium oxide and zinc oxide. If not, you can exchange them at the entrance for a chemical-free sample, and they will be returned to you on the way out.
- We recommend bringing cash or a card to buy souvenirs or photos.
Restrictions
- Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
- Children under 12 years old over 1.40m tall must also show identification to prove their age.
- For the zip line activity, a minimum height of 1.10m and a minimum weight of 40kg is required. For the harness, a minimum waist measurement of 130cm and a leg measurement of 70cm is required. Children's harnesses must be correctly adjusted or they will not be able to perform the activity.
- The use of the snorkeling equipment requires a 100MXN refundable deposit.
- You cannot change the date on the same day as your visit.
