Stargazing Tour at Salar de Uyuni
Your adventure begins with a timely pickup from your hotel, followed by a scenic drive to the Uyuni Salt Flats, a remarkable destination where the horizons blend seamlessly. Upon arrival, you will prepare for a truly enchanting experience marked by peace and wonder.
Depending on your selected tour option, be ready to marvel at the sunrise or sunset as vibrant colors illuminate the sky, casting elegant tones against the vast white backdrop. Particularly stunning during the rainy season, the renowned mirror effect will create an extraordinary illusion, allowing the sky to appear mirrored on the salt flat.
Culminating this experience is the chance to enjoy stargazing. With the exceptional clarity of the night sky due to minimal light interference, the Uyuni Salt Flat stands out as one of the world's prime spots for observing celestial wonders. We will behold the majesty of the Milky Way, and under the guidance of our knowledgeable local guides, you can capture stunning and imaginative photos to cherish as keepsakes from your adventure.
After an engaging 4-hour journey, we will gather our belongings and return to the vehicle, concluding our excursion in the heart of Uyuni.
Activity Options
When booking your experience, you may select from the following options. Each tour lasts a total of 4 hours:
- Stargazing during sunrise: You’ll be collected from your hotel early in the morning (at 3:30 am from April to November or at 4 am from December to March). Initially, we’ll immerse ourselves in the starry night, followed by watching the sun illuminate the salt flats, revealing the mirror effect. We aim to return to Uyuni by 7:30 or 8 am, depending on the season.
- Stargazing during sunset: Pickup will occur in the afternoon (between 4:20 pm and 4:40 pm). Our experience will begin with the mirror effect and a gorgeous sunset, transitioning into a night filled with stars and the mesmerizing Milky Way. We expect to return to Uyuni by 8:30 pm from April to November and at 9:30 pm from December to March.

Important information
We'll pick you up at your hotel in Unyuni at the indicated time:
- Stargazing at dawn: we'll pick you up at your hotel in the early morning (at 3:30 am from April through November, or at 4 am from December through March). We’ll be back in Uyuni at 7:30 am or 8 am, respectively.
- Sunset stargazing: we'll pick you up in the afternoon (between 4:20 pm and 4:40 pm). We’ll return to the city of Uyuni at 8:30 pm from April through November and at 9:30 pm from December through March.
Please remember to be at the front desk at least 15 minutes before the tour begins.
