Uyuni Salt Flats Stargazing Experience

Your adventure begins with a pickup from your accommodation at the scheduled time, followed by a journey to the Uyuni Salt Flats, where the boundary between land and sky dissolves into a mesmerizing panorama. Once there, prepare to indulge in a truly magical and serene experience.

Depending on the selected tour option, you will be treated to the spectacular display of sunrise or sunset, as vibrant colors illuminate the horizon above the vast white salt flats. If you visit during the rainy season, the mirror effect will create an iconic illusion, reflecting the sky above on the surface below, giving an otherworldly feel to your surroundings.

The pinnacle of the experience will undoubtedly be stargazing. With minimal light interference, the Uyuni Salt Flats rank among the prime locations worldwide for celestial observations. You'll be in awe of the expanse of the Milky Way, and accompanied by our knowledgeable guides, you can capture stunning, creative photos fit for sharing, making your memories even more special.

Following a journey that lasts around 4 hours, we will regroup at the transportation and make our way back, concluding this unforgettable experience in the city of Uyuni.

Choices for Your Experience

During your booking, you’ll have the option to select from the following experiences, each lasting 4 hours:

• Stargazing at dawn: Early morning pickups will take place at your hotel (at 3:30 am from April to November or at 4 am from December to March). We’ll commence with stargazing before witnessing the sun ascend over the salt flats, accompanied by the mirror effect. Arrival back in Uyuni will be around 7:30 or 8 am, depending on the season.
• Stargazing at dusk: Afternoon pickups will occur between 4:20 and 4:40 pm. After enjoying the mirror effect, we will take in a spectacular sunset. As darkness envelops the landscape, the starlit sky and Milky Way will shine brilliantly. Our return to Uyuni will be at approximately 8:30 pm from April to November, or 9:30 pm from December to March.
