Vienna Christmas Market Experience
As the aroma of cinnamon fills the air, streetlights cast a warm glow, and the winter chill envelopes the surroundings, the captivating sound of Christmas carols can be heard... it’s the holiday season in Vienna! The city's Christmas markets beckon, making it one of the finest locations to celebrate this magical season.
We will gather at the specified time in front of the main entrance of the Mariahilfer Kirche and embark on this unique journey through three stunning Christmas markets. To commence our adventure, enjoy a tasting of schnapps at a delightful mulled wine stall.
Throughout the tour, we'll visit three delightful markets, featuring a blend of artisan crafts, mulled wine booths, and distinct gift options for culinary enthusiasts.
Our first destination is the largest market in Vienna, where we can savor savory baked potatoes and Kaiserschmarrn, a beloved local pancake treat.
Next, we venture to the second market, where you can sip on a soothing cup of mulled wine or punch, and take a moment to write heartfelt Christmas cards.
As we wander through the city, we’ll traverse some of Vienna's most picturesque locations, strolling along narrow streets while admiring the unique Viennese architecture. You will encounter iconic landmarks such as Karlsplatz, which takes on a magical quality during the festive season! The renowned Musikverein concert hall is situated in this plaza, where the annual New Year's Concert is hosted.
We will conclude our tour at the Christmas village in Maria-Theresien-Platz, where a delightful Christmas cookie will be our parting gift, marking the end of our 2.5-hour experience.

The guide will be waiting for you at the specified time at Adventmarkt Mariahilf, holding a yellow Prime Tour umbrella. Specifically, the guide will meet you at the main entrance of the Mariahilfer Kirche church (Mariahilfer Kirche, Haydndenkmal 1060 Wien Österreich, Barnabitengasse 14, 1060 Viena). Please arrive 15 minutes early.
In case of bad weather
If it's storming or raining hard, we won't be able to run the tour and we'll have to cancel.
