Danube Tower Tickets
Description
Discover breathtaking views of Vienna from the Danube Tower, the tallest structure in Austria, featuring observation decks, a revolving café, and engaging displays.
Reasons to Explore Danube Tower
Soaring to 252 meters (826 ft), the Danube Tower stands as a remarkable engineering achievement and a testament to Vienna's renewal following World War II. Since its opening in 1964, it has secured its place as one of the city's landmark attractions. Interestingly, it also holds the title of the highest building in Austria.
Your journey to the open-air observation deck of the Danube Tower, or Donauturm, begins with a swift elevator ride that climbs to 155 meters (508 ft) in just 35 seconds. Quite impressive, isn’t it?
Upon reaching the top, you will be treated to stunning panoramic vistas of the skyline, historic landmarks, and the Danube river valley. On clear days, the views extend to the Cobenzl Forest and the mountains of the Vienna Woods, including the notable Kahlenberg.
At this height, you will also discover Café Burm, a café adorned in a charming 1960s decor, where you can indulge in a delightful Viennese coffee paired with traditional pastries.
On the covered terrace, interactive panels provide insights into Vienna’s most important monuments, enhancing your understanding and appreciation of the city’s rich history and beauty.
