Description
Have you explored the Imperial Carriage Museum in Vienna? This is a unique opportunity to uncover the elegance of Viennese carriages, celebrated for their exquisite and intricate designs.
Imperial Carriage Museum Admission
Situated within the stunning gardens of Schönbrunn Palace, this museum presents an exhibition featuring more than 600 carriages utilized in the everyday lives of the Habsburg family.
Your admission ticket grants you access to view Baroque ceremonial carriages, sporting carriages, leisure carriages, and travel carriages—each crafted for various occasions. Moreover, the exhibit sheds light on Empress Sissi's story, showcasing her personal belongings, including her riding cloak, a selection of tail dresses, and her last existing saddle.
In addition, you'll encounter the carriage that belonged to Napoleon's own son, a miniature vehicle exemplifying exceptional craftsmanship. The two black carriages used during the funerals of Sissi, Franz Joseph, and Zita de Bourbon-Parma also display remarkable decorative details worth your attention.
