Schönbrunn Palace with Dinner & Concert
Description
Begin your journey at the iconic Schoenbrunn Palace, where you'll appreciate the stunning architecture and enjoy a delightful dinner, complemented by a classical music concert.
Description
Arrive at the scheduled time at the primary entrance of Schoenbrunn Palace. Are you prepared to delve into one of Vienna's essential landmarks?
During a 45-minute self-guided tour, you will navigate through various rooms of the palace, uncovering its secrets with the help of the official mobile app. The palace's rich history is intertwined with notable figures like Emperor Franz Josef I, who cherished both the palace and its expansive gardens, as well as Empress Maria Theresa, who enjoyed her summers in these exquisite surroundings.
Upon concluding your palace exploration, a reservation awaits you at the Gerstner Schönbrunn restaurant, an elegant spot adjacent to the palace grounds. Here, you'll be treated to a three-course meal, featuring a celebratory dessert of apple strudel crafted from the palace’s bakery.
After dinner, a visit to the Orangerie is on the agenda, where legendary composers Mozart and Salieri once vied for the title of the finest musician before the royal court. Your evening culminates with an enthralling concert highlighting the works of Mozart and Strauss, performed by the Schönbrunn Palace Orchestra.
This musical experience lasts for 1 hour and 45 minutes, featuring a 15-minute intermission. Please be aware that the repertoire varies daily.
Ticket Categories
You can choose from four ticket options: VIP, A, B, and C, with the furthest seating being the most economical. The VIP tickets grant access to a dedicated lounge, a separate cloakroom, a complimentary glass of sparkling wine, and a tailored program. We strongly advise securing your seats in advance, especially if you prefer proximity to the performance stage.
Itinerary Changes
On certain occasions, the concert is relocated from the Orangerie to the Grand Gallery of the palace, a former majestic venue for imperial balls and ceremonies. Another option could be the White and Golden Hall, where concerts provide a more intimate atmosphere.
