Schönbrunn Palace Concert
Description
Vienna is synonymous with music, and the Schönbrunn Palace stands out as a true representation of the city's essence. Therefore, attending a classical music concert at the Schönbrunn is an absolute must-do when exploring Vienna!
Description
The Schönbrunn Palace Orchestra is one of the most famous in the world. Join them as they interpret the best-known works of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Johann Strauss.
Although the program changes daily, some of the works interpreted are "The Marriage of Figaro," "The Magic Flute," "Don Giovanni," "Die Fledermaus," "The Blue Danube," or the "Radetzky March."
The concert lasts 1 hour and 45 minutes, with an intermission of 15 minutes.
The setting
To top off the experience, you'll then enjoy interpretations of Mozart's and Strauss's music by the Schönbrunn Palace Orchestra. The concert takes place in the Orangery, where Mozart and Salieri once competed to demonstrate to the court who was the best composer.
In the Orangerie Schönbrunn, a magical light show will accompany your evening, with changing colours and beautiful designs. During the concert break, you can also visit the Orangery's garden.
Having said this, the show occasionally takes place in the Great Gallery, which in the imperial age was the perfect setting for dances and ceremonies of all types. The White and Gold hall is another of the corners of the palace where these concerts take place, even more intimate and special.
