Ferry Details
At your selected time, make your way to the port in Vigo to board the ferry that will take you to the Cíes Islands, one of the most incredible natural parks in Spain. The trip will take you just 40 minutes.
Once you've disembarked, you'll be free to explore the island's hills and beaches, or simply relax and soak up the sun. You decide!

Ferry Timetable
Ferry departure times from the Cíes Islands vary according to the season and may be subject to change. You'll find the schedule when making your booking, however, we'll confirm your specific return time as close to your original choice as possible.
Return on a Different Day
If you'd like to return on a different day, please indicate so in the comments section when making your reservation. To camp on the islands, you must obtain the relevant permit from the Xunta de Galicia, as we only arrange authorizations of tickets with same-day returns.
Low-Season Guided Tours
In low season (between October 1 and May 14), the ticket to the Cíes Islands includes a one-hour tour with an official guide, since it's prohibited to visit the islands on your own during low season. This guided tour will not take place during Easter, as this period is considered high season.
The guide will accompany you during the boat trip from the port of departure. Once you dock at the Cíes pier, the guide will show you the main routes. During these walks, they'll explain the most important anecdotes and curiosities about the history, and flora and fauna of this paradisiacal Galician archipelago.
Authorization from the Xunta de Galicia
Please note that in high season (from May 15 to September 30 and Easter) you'll have to bring your own authorization from the Xunta de Galicia to access the Cíes Islands. We'll send it to you by email as soon as possible. The rest of the year, we will not send it to you, as it'll be the guide himself who will bring it on the day of the tour.
If you choose to stay at a campsite in the Cíes, it's the campsite itself that must process the authorizations and cancel them as well. If they are not canceled, the shipping company cannot proceed to cancel the boat tickets.
Regarding the authorizations, once they are associated with a shipping company, then they cannot be linked to another; that is, if they are canceled, they will always have to be canceled and then process new ones.
Thus, if the campsite confirms that it has processed the cancelation of your authorization, in this case, you'll have to contact the shipping company so that, within the established refund period, it can cancel your boat tickets.

Important information
Meeting Point
You should make your way to the Mar de Ons ticket office to hand in your ticket. The complete address is 26 Cánovas del Castillo, 36201 Vigo. There, they will indicate the dock at which you should embark. We recommend that you get there at least 30 minutes ahead of time.
Necessary Documents
The Cíes islands are a protected archipelago, with a daily visitor limit, and to be able to visit, you should obtain authorization from the Xunta de Galicia which the local provider will process.
In high season (from May 15 to September 30 and at Easter), once the authorization has been processed, you'll receive it by e-mail. You must bring it with you, as well as this voucher. If you prefer, you can request it at the ticket office on the day of your visit, as long as you arrive at least 25 minutes in advance. The rest of the year, we will not send it to you, as it'll be the guide himself who will bring it on the day of the tour.
If you still haven't received the authorization of the Xunta in your email 24 hours before the date of your visit, you can access the website of the Xunta and download the authorizations by following these steps:

- Once on the page, select option #3 "Search by date and visitor's document"
- After filling in your details, you'll be able to download the authorization directly
If for any reason any of the participants cannot attend the activity, please give at least 15 days' notice and indicate the name and surname of the person who will be absent so that the Xunta de Galicia can remove him/her from the list.
What Does the Tour Include?
The activity includes round-trip sea transport and the management of the permit from the Xunta de Galicia to access the Cies Islands. The service with an English-speaking guide is subject to availability, which will be included while places last.
Ticket Conditions
Tickets can only be provided up to 30 minutes before the boat leaves and in the corresponding dock for your trip.
The ticket is null and void if not used on the day and at the time indicated. The loss of the ticket requires the purchase of a new one.
You must be at the dock 10 minutes before the boat is due to leave with your ticket ready and the authorization to disembark in the Cíes Islands.
The schedules as announced may be modified and the trip may even be canceled due to internal technical or logistical, or organizational reasons, as well as weather conditions or force majeure. Equally, stops on the way may be taken.
