Field of Light Overview
Your adventure begins with a pick-up from your accommodation, setting the stage for an experience where the brilliance of thousands of lights sparkles across the Australian landscape, creating a lasting memory. Are you prepared to explore the Field of Light? We're confident the early start will be incredibly rewarding!
We will traverse the desert under the cover of darkness, arriving at the Field of Light, an artistic creation by Bruce Munro that has gained prominent recognition in the Australian Outback.
After a brief travel period, we’ll reach the Field of Light, which is located in a remote and safeguarded patch accessible only through reservations. Availability is limited, enhancing the exclusivity of this experience as you delve into a vibrant desert scenery that is sure to captivate you.
The Field of Light features 50,000 solar-powered light spheres, shining down upon the sacred monolith of Uluru in a breathtaking manner. Here, we’ll stroll through various sections of this illuminated landscape, making our way toward a sand dune.
We’ll ascend a viewing spot to witness the sunrise, where the radiant first light breaking over Kata Tjuta and Uluru will leave a lasting impression. To complement this stunning sight, we will enjoy coffee or tea accompanied by biscuits at the viewpoint.
