Immerse yourself in the enchanting ambiance of Dinant, a charming town nestled in Wallonia, and then journey to Luxembourg, the alluring capital of one of Europe's smallest nations, during this remarkable day excursion.

Day Trip Details

We will convene at the designated time in the heart of Brussels before embarking on a scenic drive south through the captivating landscapes of the Wallonia region.

Our initial stop will be Dinant, located along the serene Meuse River. Here, you will enjoy a panoramic exploration aimed at showcasing the town's key attractions, including the stunning Collegiate Church of Notre-Dame and the House of Adolphe Sax, the renowned inventor of the saxophone. Dinant is also famed for the Maison Leffe, the birthplace of one of Belgium's most beloved beers.

Following the guided tour, you will have free time to wander and relax over a drink, providing an excellent chance to savor a local brew!

Subsequently, we will continue our journey south, leaving Belgium and driving for approximately an hour and a half to reach Luxembourg, the vibrant capital of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. Did you know that this is one of the world’s tiniest countries? Upon our arrival, we will embark on a walking tour through the historic heart of the city.

Your adventure will commence in the old town of Luxembourg at the lively Place d'Armes. As we stroll towards the Notre-Dame Cathedral, we will pass by several other noteworthy landmarks. Once at the cathedral, you will discover its intriguing similarities to its counterpart in Paris.

The exploration of Luxembourg will lead us to other essential sites, including the stunning Neumünster Abbey. This 17th-century masterpiece dominates the banks of the Alzette River within the historic Grund district, designated as a World Heritage Site.

After the guided tour of Luxembourg, you will enjoy some free time to grab a meal and further explore the historic district at your leisure.

Later in the afternoon, we will regroup in the city center of Luxembourg to commence our return to Brussels. We anticipate arriving at the original meeting point in the Belgian capital approximately 11.5 to 12 hours post-morning departure.
