Day 1: Cairo - Alexandria

Your adventure begins at 5:30 pm when we meet you at your preferred location, be it your hotel in Cairo, the airport, or the train station. Are you prepared to immerse yourself in the cradle of ancient civilization?

After a scenic 2.5-hour journey, we'll arrive in Alexandria. Our guided exploration will focus on the renowned Great Library of Alexandria, a contemporary facility that commemorates the historical events during Julius Caesar's era. Delve into the story of how one of history’s most significant collections was lost to flames.

Following lunch at a local eatery, our next stop will be the catacombs of Kom El Shogafa, the most extensive necropolis from the Greco-Roman era. You will also witness the archeological remains of the Serapeum, a temple dedicated to the God of Greece and Egypt. We’ll share its fascinating history with you! The day's itinerary concludes with your check-in at the Alexandria hotel, where you can enjoy dinner and unwind for the next day.

Day 2: Alexandria - El Alamein - Marsa Matrouh - Siwa

Good morning! A delightful breakfast awaits before we depart Alexandria towards El Alamein. Our first stop will be the El Alamein War Museum, offering a retrospective on the intense confrontations of 1942. You will also visit a somber cemetery in the desert, honoring over 7,000 fallen Commonwealth soldiers.

Shortly after, we'll journey to Marsa Matrouh, where a lunch break is scheduled. Explore Rommel's Cave, where the infamous Desert Fox strategized Nazi operations during the war. You will then have leisure time to soak up the sun on Marsa Matrouh's beautiful shores. It’s said that Cleopatra herself enjoyed these coastline waters!

The second day wraps up with your arrival at the hotel in Siwa for dinner.

Day 3: Siwa

Prepare for an exciting off-road adventure through the Siwa Oasis after breakfast. Our thrilling exploration will navigate the sandy dunes, where we'll share insights about the numerous marine fossils scattered throughout the area and discuss the underground freshwater springs. The highlight will be Bir Wahid, a stunning lake nestled in the desert.

The day will conclude with a delectable dinner back at your Siwa hotel.

Day 4: Siwa

Following breakfast, we will venture to the iconic Siwa Oasis, a serene paradise brimming with wonder. Next, we’ll explore the Amon Temple, a historical sanctuary that welcomed visitors like Alexander the Great. Our journey continues with a visit to Gebel Al Mawta, a complex of tombs carved from stone by one of Egypt's last dynasties.

Next, you can refresh yourself with a swim at Cleopatra's Pool, a stunning stone basin situated amidst the desert landscape. Enjoy lunch here before we set off to Fatnis Island, fondly dubbed Fantasy Island, where a breathtaking sunset awaits.

Finally, we’ll enjoy dinner in Siwa’s vibrant center, near the Berber Shali Fortress, before returning to your hotel.

Day 5: Siwa - Cairo

On the last day, relish a delicious breakfast at your Siwa hotel. We will then board our minibus for an 8-hour drive back to Cairo, with an expected arrival at roughly 5 pm where you will be dropped off at your hotel.
