Cappadocia One Day Trip by Plane

This one-day tour is ideal if you wish to discover the best areas of the historical region of Cappadocia if you're only in Istanbul for a few days. An unforgettable trip!

Description

After hotel pickup at the indicated time, you'll head to one of the city's airports (Istanbul International or Sabiha Airport) for one of the first flights of the day to Cappadocia. The flight lasts 90 minutes, landing in a region rich in natural wonders.

The first stop is Devrent Valley, known for its surprising rock formations. You'll explore its moon-like landscape.

Next, visit Göreme Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Here, you can admire fairy chimney rocks and homes and churches carved into the rock.

Then, walk through the troglodyte village of Uçhisar and enjoy the region’s traditional gastronomy for lunch.

After lunch, head to Monks Valley, known for its striking fairy chimneys. You’ll visit one of its underground cities (Özkonak or Kaymakli), built by Christian communities for protection against Muslim Arabs.

Afterward, return to the airport for the 7:45 pm or 9:50 pm flight back to Istanbul, depending on availability. Upon landing, you will be driven back to your hotel.

The tour includes pickup from the following areas in central Istanbul: Bayrampa?a, Be?ikta?, Beyo?lu, Eminönü, Eyüp, Fatih, Ka??thane, ?i?li, and Zeytinburnu. If you're staying outside these areas, you'll need to go to the meeting point at The Marmara Taksim Hotel 5*.
