Experience a 5-kilometer journey on a sleigh pulled by husky dogs through the picturesque forests of Äkäslompolo, creating lasting memories amid stunning scenery!

Husky Sleigh Experience

At the arranged time, transportation will be provided from your accommodation in Äkäslompolo to a husky kennel, where you'll encounter our furry friends for the day.

Upon meeting these loyal animals, you will board a sleigh prepared to traverse a unique path through the woods. During this five-kilometer journey, you'll immerse yourself in the enchanting surroundings of Äkäslompolo while taking in the majestic winter landscapes of Lapland.

The sled accommodates two adults who will take turns. One will steer while the other enjoys the ride, later switching places.

As we glide along, you'll discover numerous fascinating insights about huskies, the resilient dogs native to Nordic regions that thrive in chilly conditions. You’ll be amazed by the attention they receive on a daily basis!

Following approximately thirty minutes in this remarkable natural environment, we'll return to the kennel, where you can relax with a hot beverage by a warm campfire.

The adventure concludes as we return you to your hotel after about 2.5 hours.
