Formula Yas 3000 Experience

At the designated time, you will rendezvous at the Yas Marina Circuit, a prestigious venue that annually hosts the Abu Dhabi Formula 1 Grand Prix.

After donning your racing gear, including a helmet and gloves, an instructor will greet you in one of the circuit's pits. This skilled professional will deliver a concise driving briefing to ensure you can safely embrace the experience.

Then comes the exhilarating part: you will get to drive a Formula 3000 single-seater car. Crafted by the renowned former Cosworth Formula 1 team, this powerful machine boasts a 3000 cc V6 engine. With a peak speed of 275 km/h (170 mph), each car also features a six-speed transmission.

Your Formula 3000 adventure will last 15 minutes, allowing for approximately 9 to 13 full laps around the Yas Marina Circuit. As you navigate the track, your adrenaline will soar. Experience the rush of accelerating from zero to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 2.8 seconds!

The cars are equipped with paddle shifters on the steering wheel for rapid gear changes, mimicking the actions of professional racers. Moreover, each vehicle includes two integrated video cameras to capture this memorable driving adventure.

Activity Requirements

Participants must be between 1.60 meters (5'3'') and 1.90 meters (6'3'') tall.
The maximum weight limit is 105 kilograms (231 pounds).

On the day of the activity, you should be at the following point in Abu Dhabi: Yas Marina Circuit. Please arrive at least 15 minutes beforehand.

Age, Height, & Weight Requirements

Only people over 19 years old can participate.
The required height is between 1.60 and 1.90 meters (5'3'' and 6'3'').
The maximum weight allowed is 105 kilograms (231 pounds).

Driving Licenses & Permits Required

Non-UAE license holders must present a driving license that has been issued at least 2 years ago.
The license you present must be a valid and current license in your home country or a valid and current international license.
You will need to have a valid and current copy of your license on hand in case you are asked for it by the circuit staff.
Automatic car licenses are accepted, but a good knowledge of driving manual cars is required.
Normally, 2 days before the experience you will be asked to fill out an online liability waiver form and send a copy of your driver's license to the circuit.

Do I Need to Wear Any Special Clothing or Footwear?

You must wear clothing that covers your arms and legs.
It is mandatory to wear closed sports shoes with soft soles. Sandals and high heels are not allowed.

Any abusive behavior or safety breaches will result in penalties or will be reported to the authorities as necessary.
Alcohol may not be taken in the period prior to the driving experience.
Any accidents that occur due to the influence of alcohol will be reported to the authorities, and drivers will be held responsible for any damages incurred.
All rules and regulations of the Yas Marina Circuit must be followed.
