Your journey begins with pickup from your hotel in Agra, followed by an approximately two-and-a-half-hour drive southward into the region of Madhya Pradesh, guiding you towards the historic site of Gwalior.

Our first destination is the grand Gwalior Fort, a formidable structure constructed in the 15th century under the direction of Rajah Man Singh Tomar. Here, you will uncover the stories woven into its complex history. Be sure to admire the intricate sculptures adorning the fortifications, which serve as a testament to its storied past.

Following our exploration of the Gwalior Fort, we will pause for a lunch break, providing you with an hour to indulge in some local delicacies at a nearby restaurant. This is an excellent moment to experience new flavors!

Once we’ve enjoyed our meal, our tour resumes as we proceed to the Jai Vilas Palace. Here, you will discover insights into its architectural design, which draws striking parallels to various notable European constructs.

The palace is also home to the Scindia Museum, named after one of Gwalior's most influential families. Within the museum's diverse rooms, you will encounter the rich history of this dynasty, featuring carriages, sculptures, and an impressive array of decorative arts, including intricately designed Belgian glass furnishings.

After our comprehensive visit to the museum, we will make our way back to your accommodation in Agra.
